Job Description:

[The Test Engineer will support electronics manufacturing process by developing and improving test systems that ensure the customer's quality requirements are achieved. Enhance existing test systems to increase first pass yield, throughput, and test coverage. Develop test systems based on customer or TT Electronics test specifications.]{times= new= roman = }[ * * ]{times= new= roman = }[ Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ]{times= new= roman = }[Design Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to test at the PCB assembly or box build/system level.]{times= new= roman = }[Develop ATE utilizing PC or PXI chassis, data acquisition components, switching systems and custom PCB interface.]{times= new= roman = }[Design custom test software to control test system using National Instruments LabVIEW system engineering software. Certified LabVIEW Developer accrediation is preferred.]{times= new= roman = }[Develop full documentation package related to all design activity including, but not limited to: Block diagrams, schematics, wire lists, functional/operational specifications, system calibration, verification & validation reports.]{times= new= roman = }[Support production test department in the form of test system maintenance, implementing continuous improvements, and developing accuate test procedures.]{times= new= roman = }[Lead technical discussions related to design, milestone reviews and project status to internal/external customers.]{times= new= roman = }[Direct technical personnel related to fabrication, test, debug or system validation.]{times= new= roman = }[Familiar with software tools such as Altium, PADs or Cadence for PCB schematic generation.]{times= new= roman = }[ Other duties may be assigned. ]{times= new= roman = }[ Qualifications: ]{times= new= roman = }[ Education/Experience/Credentials: BSEE or BSEET. National Instruments Labview training or demonstration of high level experience. Ability to read and analyze periodicals, business reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
