Contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team and building goals. Exercises initiative in performing work assignments; applies judgment and knowledge of the operations of the school to resolve problems and make work process decisions. Perform all duties in support of the building principal that include but are not limited to the following: answering the telephone, scheduling appointments, maintaining the filing system, and performing computer operations that include word processing, database and spreadsheet applications. Creates a customer-focused climate and provides quality services and support to school and other stakeholders, including maintaining a warm, clean, and inclusive environment in the front office. Serve in a confidential manner as it relates to information about parents, students, faculty and staff. Maintain an accurate record of the building budget including, bookkeeping, coding, purchasing, receiving and distributing supplies. Maintain security access system. Daily monitoring and updating of employee absences. Assist in maintaining accurate agenda and minutes for various meetings. Maintain and update school calendar of events and activities and the staff and school handbooks. Assist with Capital Outlay process. Assist with gift and donation reporting. Assist with personnel postings, Human Resources paperwork, contractual documents, personal leave paperwork, STAR reporting and filing of personnel information. Other duties as assigned by the principal. Qualifications: A commitment to working with diverse populations of families and students. Flexibility in dealing with new and changing conditions in the workplace. Outstanding telephone skills. Demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers. Demonstrates the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks Demonstrated experience using available technology to disseminate information to students, parents and teachers as requested. High school diploma (minimum). Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred. Responsible To: Building Principal Compensation / Benefits: RAVE Clerical Association - Wage Group I : $24.38 - $27.36 Hourly - According to contractual agreement (based on 2024-25 contract) If benefit eligible, benefits are available to new employees effective the first day of active employment.
