Qualifications High school degree or equivalent. It requires the ability to deal with the public in a firm but tactful manner while enforcing traffic laws and established rules. Ability to quickly evaluate various situations and act responsibly in an emergency. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Must be reliable and committed to attending the crossing daily when school is in session.
