Job DescriptionElevated is the fastest growing independent elevator company in the nation. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced elevator industry professional with a strong sales and operations background to fill a Branch Manager opening.The Branch Manager will have direct P&L responsibility for the branch and will manage the branch operations to include sales, field operations, and branch support team. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working in sales and/or operations in the vertical transportation industry and display the following traits:Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Hiring and training qualified candidates for all branch positions
  • Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the branch
  • Conducts performance evaluations
  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and attainment of an annual business plan, operating budget, and orders budget
  • Executes implementation of objectives/initiatives for service & modernization (i.e., Safety, Quality, market pricing, etc.)
  • Manages HR related processes including people development, staffing, compensation, performance management, etc.
  • Develops & fosters communication between all departments including effective problem resolution
  • Creates an environment of customer/employee satisfaction
  • Manages corporate compliance, proper business practices, and code of conduct
  • Ensures operations conform to local, state, and federal regulations
  • Establishes and maintains positive public relations to promote a reputation of quality for the organization
  • Directs department leaders to achieve planned goals and initiatives
  • Collaborates with the Regional Vice President to set sales and/or efficiency goals
  • Collaborates with Regional Vice President and regional staff to set performance standards.
  • Conducts regular staff meetings
  • Participates in community activities to promote the organization and to build goodwill
  • Collaborates with Corporate and Regional Vice President regarding advertising and other campaigns
  • Assists with start-up, development, and growth of new branches as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Associate's degree and equivalent industry experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the elevator industry
  • Minimum of one (1) year of leadership or management preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry processes, procedures, policies, contracts, and product offerings
  • General accounting and financial management principles
  • Knowledge of laws & regulations regarding safety & environmental, governmental regulations
  • Familiarity of competitor product offerings and practices
  • Demonstrated ability at leading and sponsoring change
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
