About the Role:We are seeking a seasoned Elevator Modernization Technician to upgrade and enhance existing elevator systems. Your expertise will drive safety, performance, and customer satisfaction by replacing outdated components with cutting-edge technology. You'll work with a dedicated team, ensuring each project is executed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upgrade and modernize elevator systems using state-of-the-art technology.
- Utilize technical expertise to execute system upgrades, including working with controllers, hydraulics, wiring, and schematics.
- Perform detailed inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of elevators to ensure safety and performance.
- Mentor junior technicians to foster a skilled and collaborative work environment.
- Identify and resolve potential issues across various traction and hydraulic elevator systems.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in elevator service and repair, with modernization experience required.
- Certified Elevator Technician (CET) degree or Elevator Mechanic License.
- Proficiency in working with traction and hydraulic elevator systems.
- Hands-on experience with tools, hydraulics, wiring, and plumbing for elevator installations and repairs.
- Skilled in reading schematics, installing controllers, testing, and inspecting elevators.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
