If so, theSC Department of Social Serviceshas the right job opportunity for you!Job Duties:The Eligibility Team Leader is responsible for the administrative functioning of the Economic Services Program in the county office, and directly supervising all eligibility staff tasked with determining eligibility in the SNAP and TANF programs.Ensures Economic Services Program unit operates in accordance with all state & federal laws, regulations, policies & guidelines and performs monthly case reviews to ensure compliance with program policy.Supervises staff responsible for providing services to Family independence and SNAP clients. May have some supervisory responsibility for CM, and E&T staff.To timely perform the required number of case reviews monthly for each worker.Ensures that all client data is correctly entered into the required systems and prepares all statistical and other reports as required.Represents the agency in meetings with service providers, local business & industry leaders & their appropriate community contacts as required. Participate in statewide trainings.Performs related duties as required.Set, effectively communicate, and manage exp6ctations for service delivery, customer service, and accountabilityDirect supervision to include but not limited to conflict management, training new hires, effective communication, regular staff meetings, and employee recognition.Participates in Red Cross training and shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty services as directed.Performs emergency disaster management services to include American Red Cross sheltering and Disaster SNAP duties; performs other related duties as required.Minimum and Additional RequirementsAgency Requirements:A High School Diploma and relevant program experience.A Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for the required program experience.Additional CommentsThis application for employment with the SC Department of Social Services must be completed in its entirety.
