The Materials Management is a vital part of this organization. Here at The Elliot, the Materials Management Department plays a significant role in the supervision of materials likes Planning, Purchasing, Store & Inventory Control, and more. About the Job:To pick up, process and deliver mail, interoffice envelopes, and memorandum.What You'll Do:Receives and sorts incoming mail and packages from US Postal Service, Federal Express and UPS. Picks up, sorts, and distributes mail, interoffice envelopes for departments within the hospital. Operates electronic scales, postage machines and assorted office equipment. Readdresses discharged patient mail as outbound mail. Maintains adequate funds in postal accounts. Documenting department mail volume and expenses incurred. Performs key operator duties for the copy machine located in the mail room. Performs single and large copying jobs for staff and forwards complex copying to the print shop. Works in conjunction with courier service to assure pickup and delivery of mail for all outside entities.Who You Are:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior hospital environment with mail background
