About the Job:The Ambulatory Quality Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the organization's commitment to quality and continuous improvement. This position supports the implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and maintenance of quality improvement initiatives within a comprehensive, whole system quality framework. The coordinator conducts daily clinical case reviews, leveraging an automated trigger system to identify cases for analysis, ensuring adherence to quality standards and promoting system-wide learning and case disposition. A key contributor to fostering a Just Culture, the Ambulatory Quality Coordinator actively participates in the Quality Management System, driving improvements that enhance patient safety and reliability. Reporting to the Manager of Accreditation, this role is an integral member of the quality structure and the Department of Operational Excellence team, supporting efforts to embed a culture of excellence across the ambulatory care environment. This role works collaboratively with the Chief Quality Officer, clinical leaders, and other quality and safety leaders throughout the organization.
What You'll Do:- Assists with data collection, extracts data elements, and enters it into occurrence reporting repository or database, report writing, and presentation of information for quality review
- Model excellence in nursing practice through the utilization of advanced concepts in the areas of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of perceived, actual, or potential problems
- Project management of various quality initiatives including keeping records and minutes of various meetings related to projects and ensuring deadlines are kept and progress is made
- The Quality Coordinator may facilitate meetings with leaders in other departments
- Promotes teamwork and collaboration among team members and other stakeholders
- Assists the Medical Director of Ambulatory Quality and/or Ambulatory CQO with scheduled data and ad-hoc reports and develops standard work for related tasks so that the work is consistent and reliable
Who You Are: - Bachelor's degree, Required
- Valid, active RN license issued by the State of NH, Required
- PM, Lean/six sigma certification, Preferred
- 2-3 years of direct quality, safety, or improvement work, Required
- Experience with a suite of Microsoft products including Excel, Word, Visio, Teams, and PowerPoint programs, Required
- 2+ years of DNV/ISO experience, Preferred
