What we expect from you |

As a low voltage systems QA\QC field engineer, managing field operations, monitoring contractors and performing quality control \ quality assurance testing against system is the primary resource role.

Roles will include:

Understanding documented client needs, project specifications, RFP documentation and project drawings

Visiting the field to monitor contractor work and ensuring progress is meeting KPIs and gantt chart for project

Attending weekly project meetings held with and communicating with contractors, architects and engineering counterparts

Performing quality control \ quality assurance testing against system specifications and owner's functional requirements

Assisting system designers with budgets, project documentation and reports

Assisting with system design of low voltage systems including audio/visual, physical security, telecommunications and network infrastructure

Drafting rack elevations, line diagrams, floor plans and elevations

Creating system bills of material and associated project budgeting

Ensure compliance to engineering standards, codes, regulatory requirements and specifications

What you will need to succeed |

Qualifying candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Studies of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent engineering degree

PMP Certification

Computing system design experience (a plus)

Low voltage system design experience within new construction and renovation settings on projects from 50M-150M

Outstanding writing and documentation skills

Professional communication skills

Organizational skill set and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Valid driver's license and ability to travel (local and limited long-distance)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
