The EM Sovereign Analyst will monitor developments for major rates/FX markets and provide independent analysis to a range of audiences including analysts, Portfolio Managers, clients, and prospective clients.
Responsibilities: - Experience working on sovereign analysis (solvency and liquidity parameters), bonds valuation and relative value propositions.
- Experience working on an emerging markets focused investment team
- Proven experience in generating investment strategies and actionable trade ideas supported by rigorous fundamental analysis
- Experience analyzing and investing in distressed sovereigns is ideal but not essential.
- Write updates synthesizing ACI house views on major market developments (economic/political/monetary) for a variety of internal/external audiences
- Summarize ACI positioning/synthesize group views on weekly basis (following rates meeting) for department dissemination
- Manage/improve fundamental fair value models
Requirements: - Bachelor's/Advanced degree in Finance, Economic Policy, or other financial disciplines
- 3+ years experience of sovereign credit focused economic/financial analysis
- Ability to handle large data sets
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Shown ability to work in teams

For NY and CA based candidates, the salary range for this role is $130,000.00 - $150,000.00. Actual offers are based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate's location, skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position is eligible for cash incentive providing the potential to earn more.
