TransPerfect's Marketing team is hiring a full-time, permanent Email Marketing Specialist to help supercharge the company's digital marketing programs.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to lead and support lead generation and awareness campaigns.
Role overview: As the email marketing specialist at TransPerfect, you are responsible for the effective management and optimization of our marketing automation stack, primarily focusing on the strategic implementation and management of various inbound marketing campaigns. Your role ensures that data is accurate, clean, and effectively managed to support our lead management processes and marketing automation workflows. This includes maintaining a close collaboration with the product marketing and sales teams to ensure seamless handovers, data integrity, and optimization of lead quality. Additionally, the role requires a foundational understanding of email design for making adjustments to email templates, landing pages, and layout templates.
Key responsibilities:
Lead management & optimization: You oversee the entire lead process from visitor to prospect to lead within our marketing automation and CRM platforms, ensuring efficient workflows and data transitions. This includes recycling leads where needed and continuously optimizing lead flows to improve conversion rates. You'll ensure data from forms is properly captured and synchronized, and consistently work on improving the quality and flow of leads.
Data management & enhancement: Manage and maintain the integrity of data within our tech stack by ensuring forms capture the right data and optimizing automations. This includes implementing data enhancements like setting country fields based on phone dial codes and standardizing free-text inputs through dropdown fields to ensure data quality across all touchpoints.
Lead scoring & qualification: You will refine and maintain lead scoring models to ensure only qualified leads are passed to the sales team. Your responsibility includes excluding irrelevant segments (such as competitors and private individuals) to ensure lead quality remains high. This also involves ongoing adjustments to scoring categories to better match the company's evolving sales strategies.
Email communication & nurture campaigns: Take full ownership of all email communications, including the design and maintenance of nurture flows. This includes regular analysis of email performance and adjustments to maximize engagement and conversion. Basic HTML knowledge is essential for making adjustments to email templates and ensuring layout consistency.
Automation & process optimization: You will design, implement, and maintain marketing automation workflows invarious automation tools, and manage integrations with tools such as Zapier to streamline processes. This includes ensuring that automations are aligned with TransPerfect's marketing and sales objectives, troubleshooting synchronization errors between CRM and automation tools, and continuously improving operational efficiencies.
Data hygiene & compliance: Regularly audit and enhance data hygiene practices to ensure the data in CRM and automation tool is clean, up-to-date, and compliant with internal policies and regulations. This includes setting up automation rules to exclude invalid data, and ensuring best practices are in place to maintain a strong email sender reputation.
Dashboards & reporting: You will be responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards in various analytic tools, delivering insights into marketing performance and enabling informed decision-making. This includes analyzing data trends and working to continuously improve the accuracy and relevance of the reports and dashboards.
Sales & nurture alignment: Work closely with both the sales enablement and nurture teams to ensure that tasks, notifications, and lead handovers are effectively managed and automated, enabling smooth collaboration. You will also optimize workflows between teams to improve lead processing times and effectiveness.
Process documentation: Regularly document key marketing processes, automations, and systems in a clear and accessible way, ensuring all stakeholders at TransPerfect can easily understand and access operational workflows. This helps in maintaining consistency and continuity within the team.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in a digital marketing, email marketing or related role, with a strong focus on managing CRM and marketing automation tools. Experience in lead management, marketing automation, and data management is essential.
Technical skills: Experience in CRM and marketing automation tools with the ability to set up and optimize automations, scoring models, and workflows. Familiarity with tools like Zapier and email validation services like ZeroBounce. Basic HTML knowledge is preferred to make minor adjustments to email templates and dashboard layouts.
Analytical skills: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret performance metrics, and use data-driven insights to optimize marketing processes. Regularly track and analyze email communication performance and adapt strategies accordingly.
Collaboration & communication: Effective collaboration skills to work closely with internal teams such as marketing, sales, and the nurture team, ensuring streamlined communication and smooth execution of workflows. Strong communication skills for documenting processes and communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to detail: High attention to detail, particularly in managing and optimizing data flows, ensuring the accuracy of dashboards, and maintaining clean data within the marketing systems.
Problem solving: Ability to troubleshoot synchronization issues between CRM and automation tools, optimize automation workflows, and identify areas for improvement in lead management and reporting.
