Job Responsibilities •Responsible for writing functional software for deployment on embedded devices and systems based on a good understanding of requirements. •Test and debug system software as well as analyzing and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of the software on multiple devices. •Create interoperability by re-using existing software code base to expand the capabilities to match specific program requirements. •Software porting from existing hardware platform to next generation hardware platform •Job scope includes software analysis, software design, code implementation, software integration, module verification and validation •You will be responsible for the quality and on-time delivery of your work products throughout the software development lifecycle. Requirements •Strong in designing Embedded SW, preferably using UML
- Experience with Python/C/C++ and/or OpenCL
- Experience working with common protocols such as RS-485, RS-232, CAN, I2C, SPI, USB
•Experience in model-based software development. •Work experience with using tools like CANoe, Compilers and debuggers •Handson Experience in Tools like MATLAB, SIMULINK, STATEFLOW etc. •Good understanding of real-time system architecture/design •Experience of HW related SW development using microcontrollers, HW boards, PCBs •Experience in embedded development tools (emulators, analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc) •Experience with software configuration management tools / version control tools (IMS, Git) •Experience in Agile SW development Qualifications •A BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Advanced degree is preferred.
