About the roleJob Description Summary: Test and validate Connected services features. Manage defects in ALM/HP QC. Organize triage calls with OEM and Suppliers for resolve defects. Develop test cases, Test plan, Design Test Strategy, Test Execution and Test deliverables in order to assess the functional and non-functional quality and reliability of a component and/or a system for Global connected services, IOT, OTA, on Trucks for E2E Testing, Regression, System Acceptance test, Vehicle testing and any test related activities. Develop and implement custom test functions, sequences, and test setups using breakout boxes, Vector CANalyzer and CANoe, CAPL scripting, and software prototyping tools as needed. Maintenance and upgrades of manual test equipment and harnesses. Work extensively with CAN, analog and digital based control systems. Provide manual test support for TCU development and testing. 80% bench test; 20% in-vehicle testing locally. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee - will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Qualifications: Master's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Master's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics or related field of study and two (2) years of experience, the employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must have demonstrated experience with: Test automation scripting (CAPL, C or Python); HIL, telematics or infotainment validation (dSPACE/Vector or Blackbox testing); UNIX Commands or OBD Tools; Automotive communication protocols (J1939, CAN, KWP-2000 or UDS); MATLAB; Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC); HTTPS and MQTT; HIL-based automated tests; Branch creation, merge, push and fetch contents in GIT Extension; Debugging and testing software; and CANape, CANalyzer, CANoe, PCAN View or PCAN Explorer. Salary offered for the position is: $104,832.00 - 109,832.00/year. Primary Work Location: 900 N Squirrel Rd, Suite 300, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI.
