The embroidery machine operator's responsibilities include setting up embroidery machines, selecting pertinent tools and materials, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring that all projects are completed to work order specifications.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reads and understands specifications and customer orders Reads a ruler in 1/8 of an inch Hoops products in order for design to be properly run on machine Threads embroidery machine properly to the specified look Stands 8 to 10 hours per day in order to watch and re-thread machinesQUALIFICATIONSREQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent Experience as an embroidery machine operator or similar preferred Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills Must be able to stand 8 to 10 hours per day The ability to read and understand instructional manuals Excellent administrative abilities and attention to detailCOMPETENCIES Quality Focus - Ensuring that all work in their own area of the business, throughout the organization by vendors, suppliers, etc. is performed with excellence and to high standards for quality and integrity Compliance - Working to ensure that they, team members, other employees, contractors, strategic partners and other relevant stakeholders act in accordance with all pertinent rules, regulations, policies and best practices, and that behavior in the organization meets the company's standards of conduct Time Management - Focuses on completing all work tasks in a timely manner, while remaining responsive enough to react to competing demands and shifting priorities; managing multiple responsibilities while staying organized, keeping on top of important time-sensitive tasks and performing all work accurately Safety Focus - Taking the practical actions necessary to minimize the incidence and probability of workplace accidents, injuries and illnesses by keeping up to date with current with current workplace safety laws, research and best practices; ensuring awareness of safety-related issues, remaining vigilant for potential hazards, and taking all precautions to ensure the wellbeing of all employees Extended Task Focus - Performing the same function for a significant amount of time while remaining focused, without becoming disengaged, being comfortable with a structured schedule and well-defined work tasks**Along with a generous Compensation Package, the company offers an excellent Benefits Package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and a Flexible Spending Account EOE AA M/F/Vet/DisabilityQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, genetic information, or other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
