BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN DESIGN + STITCHING THROUGH DIGITAL INPUT THE OPPORTUNITY:This position will be responsible for entering new embroidery orders on the digitizing computer system and testing the results for quality and efficiency. Work with embroidery operators and artists to gather insight to resolve embroidery design issues. Follow through on orders to ensure designs meet the objectives, deadlines and technical abilities of embroidery. (This is an on-site position)Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm (This is an on-site position)Essential Job Functions | Review Orders + Digitize Designs + Update Systems
- Review orders entered on the computer system for accuracy of spelling, size, numbers, etc....
- Enter and set name drops on designs
- Focus on machine efficiency and productivity (size and stitch count, including pricing)
- Create digitized designs from prepared artwork through use of the digitizing system
- Test digitized designs on the embroidery machine for quality and efficiency
- Make changes as necessary to existing designs for improvement in speed and quality
- Design problem solving- contact Rep Coordinator with potential problems with design in pricing, colors of threads and fabrics used
- Update price levels and stitch count in Syspro
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications | Eye for Detail + Art Inclined + Self-Directed + Keen Attention to Detail
- High school diploma required
- 2 year art-related degree preferred
- Digitizing software knowledge in Pulse and Focus preferred
- Illustrator and Photoshop experience preferred
- Ability to work well in a team and be a proactive self-starter
- Must have an eye for design composition and layout
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and deadlines is crucial
