This Operator will use multi-head embroidery machines, each having individual procedures that must be followed. Additionally, this position requires the individual to follow direction to ensure product meets customer expectations, maintain acceptable quality and productivity, while keeping a clean and safe work area, be reliable, work well with others and work well in a fast-paced environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThe Embroidery Machine Operator plays a vital role in the ongoing production functions of the Company. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. The essential duties and responsibilities of the position includeProduces accurate quality decorated garments using a Multi-Head Embroidery MachineFollows the direction on production specification sheet and/or art sheet provided for each customer orderMaintains a clean organized work areaFunctions well as part of a team with the entire production departmentAssists in the development and/or institutes new procedures to improve accuracy and quality of productsQUALIFICATIONSThe Embroidery Machine Operator should have a number of professional skills and abilities:A high school diploma or GEDA minimum of two years of experience with embroidery machines or related experienceAn equivalent combination of education and experienceKnowledge of machines used throughout the production processBe detail-oriented in nature and apply this to all produced productThe ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities, meet assigned deadlines, and manage the related stressSound organizational, records management, time management skills, and attention to detailCOMPENSATION$17-19/hourWORKING CONDITIONSLocation: On-SiteThe Embroidery Machine Operator is primarily in a warehouse environment and may be exposed to varying weather and temperature conditions.
