Warehouse Services is currently seeking a 1st shift full time embroidery operator at its facility in Piedmont, SC. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Under general supervision, performs a variety of assignments, both technical and clerical, to receive, inspect, store and ship material, but not limited to receipt, control, preparation, material distribution, records, and reports. Receives general direction on new assignment aspects and instructions as to how to perform required tasks and results expected. Duties require manual, clerical, and data entry skills.
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, threading, etc.) to start a production cycle.
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) to ensure to best quality.
- Read and follow detailed embroidery orders accurately.
- Pull design files and load embroidery designs into machines.
- Correctly and efficiently hoop various products.
- Thread the machine with correct threads needed for each order.
- Operate machine quickly and accurately to ensure high quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot machine set up and/or quality issues.
- Verify products for quantity, quality, size and accuracy.
- Quality Control - watch closely for quality issues and correct as necessary.
- Follow daily, weekly, monthly machine maintenance.
- Fold, trim, and prep embroidered pieces for shipment.
- Keep embroidery area stocked with supplies, neat and organized.
