With sales and service locations throughout the world, and over 100 years of battery experience, EnerSys is the power/full solution for stored DC power products.Job PurposeWe are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our finance team, overseeing monthly consolidations and providing crucial financial insights for our EMEA and APAC regions. This role requires a proactive approach to financial reporting, variance analysis, and internal controls, with an emphasis on maintaining accuracy, transparency, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with expertise in IFRS/US GAAP standards, solid working knowledge of Excel, and a commitment to upholding audit-ready documentation.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonthly Financial Data Preparation and Consolidation: Prepare consolidated financial data for EMEA and APAC regions on a monthly basis. Ensure accuracy and compliance with compay financial policies, providing a clear, unified view of regional financial performance.Variance Analysis: Conduct thorough monthly variance analyses, identifying drivers behind discrepancies between actual results and forecasts/budgets to provide stakeholders with actionable insights into financial trends within the region.Reporting and Financial Insights: Deliver detailed monthly performance reports for the EMEA and APAC regions, summarizing and interpreting data to present a transparent view of financial health, and standardizing reporting practices across units to meet group requirements.Balance Sheet Review and Compliance: Perform comprehensive monthly balance sheet reviews for regional entities, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines and standards. Resolve discrepancies promptly to uphold accuracy and integrity.Documentation and Audit Preparation: Maintain detailed, audit-ready documentation of regional procedures and financial processes. Ensure high-quality, compliant documentation to support both internal and external audits.Implementation of Financial Tools and Procedures: Assist in the implementation of new financial tools and procedures, customizing these tools to meet regional needs, ensuring team training, and monitoring effectiveness for ongoing optimization.Internal Controls and SOX Compliance: Collaborate with regional units to design, implement, and refine internal control measures to meet Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.
