Since our inception in 1995, founded by Emergency Physicians, we have specialized in Hospitalist Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia, Urgent Care, and Locum Tenens services. Our mission is to address the shortages of Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and Nursing staff, manage unexpected absences, and enhance continuity of care in the communities we serve. Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in rural hospital settings.
  • Collaborate with Physicians and nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Conduct patient assessments, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results.
  • Administer medications and perform necessary procedures as required.
  • Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements.
  • Participate in emergency response drills and promote a culture of safety and preparedness.
  • Engage with patients and their families to provide education and support regarding health management.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies with a focus on Emergency Medicine.
  • Active state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an emergency medicine or critical care setting preferred.
  • Current ACLS and BLS certification is required; PALS certification is a plus.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to healthcare regulations and standards.
