Purpose of Position
The Emergency Response Specialist is responsible for supporting the Aviation Emergency Response Plan (AERP) Manager with continued development, implementation, testing and maintenance of NetJets' Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and its supporting functions. The Emergency Response Specialist will manage the Family Assistance and Support Team (FAST) program and collaborate across the corporation to ensure team members are adequately trained and prepared to respond as needed. The Emergency Response Specialist will oversee contractors and their support services as they relate to the ERP. The Emergency Response Specialist will participate in planning and execution of ERP exercises/dills/tabletops, as well as be a primary responder during any real-world ERP activations.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Manage the FAST program to include annual trainings, recruitment, document management, contact lists, and continuous program maintenance.
* Manage the support of employees who may be injured or exposed to other traumatic events while on duty. This includes the facilitation of transportation home, referral to counseling and other support activities as necessary to ensure the well-being of the employee. Must be available for an on-call rotation 24/7 365.
* Assist the AERP Manager with the developing, administering, implementing and/or facilitating the training of ERP team members, alternates, and NetJets employees as required to ensure adequate knowledge of ERP processes and procedures. Develop and maintain team member rosters and contact lists. Develop, coordinate, and facilitate ERP exercises/dills/tabletops to test effectiveness of the plan. Identify improvement opportunities and conduct post-exercise reports.
