As an Emergency Services Technician you follow established protocol and SOP to mitigate damage resulting from disaster, including but not limited to fire, smoke, wind, water, mold and mildew. Perform light demolition work, rebuild. IICRC and related certifications desired but not required; certifications can be earned while working. Should have a general basic knowledge of construction, especially carpentry.

Must have either high school diploma or GED certification and reliable transportation, current, valid driver s license and good driving record. Must have own set of basic tools. Should be able to follow specific directions, read tape measure accurately, able to stand or walk for long periods, and use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects. Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 lbs, and be capable of climbing up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects, carry tools and equipment. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and see, either naturally or with correction, is necessary
