Do you want to serve the community, make a difference, build lifelong skills, gain hands-on experience, and get paid? Get all of this and more through the Empire State Service Corps.
Students will be selected for 300 hours of paid community service work (10 hours per week during the academic year). You'll also attend monthly meetings to discuss your service/impact, share your experience and what you're learning, and get to know other members!
Paid service assignments could include:
+ Tutoring in local K-12 schools
+ Taking climate action working to increase SUNY Schenectady's Sustainability Efforts
+ Working as a Peer Success Coach
+ Support the college's Food Pantry and SNAP outreach to address food insecurity within our campus community
+ Champion student led Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Initiative on Campus.

+ Must be a current SUNY Schenectady student
+ Must be reliable and have a service mindset

Salary: $16/hour
