McLeod Regional Medical Center is a 461-Bed facility that is voted one of America's Best Hospitals by US News & World Report.Job Description: •Desired start date is no later than January 1, 2025.•Reason for opening: Attrition•Schedule includes 7 days on, 7 days off. Possibly flexible according to the arrangement between the Medical Director and Staff Physician. Shifts consist of 24-hour rounding plus call from home. Call will be shared with another Intensivist.•7.6 shifts per month is full-time, 5.5 shifts per month minimum for benefit-eligible. •Practice setting includes inpatient care and rounds.•Great opportunity to create a satisfying work/life balance•Facility designation: Level III Trauma Center.•Responsible for providing coverage to a 6-bed PICU•Admissions and patient management•Consultation with families and referring physicians•Working with local physicians/facilities on successfully accepting transfers into the hospital/unit•Documentation system/EMR details to be discussed with the Medical Director.•Can interview candidates in their last year of Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship.
