This will include verbal and written communication internally with staff and externally with current clients and other office support activities. 50%Client/Policy Services Provides daily support to account managers and employees' benefits group health accounts. Responsibilities include:
  • Processing eligibility additions, terminations, and changes.
  • Assisting in keeping the Benefit Point system and Employee Navigator up to date and maintained for groups.
  • Assisted in the preparation of renewal kits, including benefits guides, employee paperwork, etc.
  • Assisting with inbound calls as needed.
  • Learning all Employee Benefits service standards and procedures, including daily service.
  • Backup to the Receptionist.
30%Office Administration/File Management Responsibilities include: Document all correspondence and follow up for necessary information updates at appropriate times. 10%Teamwork Works together with team and with other departments, such as Marketing, Accounting and Producers, etc.; this includes conferencing with Producer to discuss the execution of strategies. Manages PTO to work with departmental needs. Volunteers to back up and/or assist others as needed. 10%Determination Displays commitment and initiative to meet department and agency education goals as set forth in the organization's education program. Requirements Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must be able to obtain insurance licenses and designations as set forth by the organization's education plans.
