Job Summary:

The Client Advisor is responsible for prospecting, soliciting, quoting and selling new Life, Health and Employee Benefits Accounts. Continuing to counsel and market to existing clients professionally. Specific sales goals and service responsibilities are determined during the yearly planning process for this position. Must meet service and sales standards with timeliness and quality.

Responsibilities:

* Identifies and develops insurance prospects and appropriate markets.

* Responds to referrals quickly and effectively.

* Pre-qualifies insurance prospects for insurability and quality of risk.

* Creates and maintains client or prospect lists.

* Designs insurance plans and recommends coverages to clients.

* Surveys loss exposures, needs, and possible uninsurable or difficult to insure exposures for clients.

* Makes sales presentations to prospective and existing clients on new and renewal business.

* Completes and submits applications and related documentation to marketing staff.

* Develops, follows and completes sales objectives.

* Prepares, requests, and delivers binders to insureds.

* Educates clients concerning agency payment expectations and cancellation procedures.

* Collects necessary down payments from insureds for purchases of new and upgraded coverages and obtains signatures on all applications for insureds.

* Acknowledges non-standard coverage limitations and binding restrictions to document file and lower errors and omissions exposures.

* Asks for referrals from insureds to help generate new business.

* Refers Life/Health/Employee Benefits producer to client for account rounding opportunities.

* Contacts insureds to assist CFO in collection of past due premiums or audit amounts.

Requirements:

* Microsoft Office proficiency

* Active Life & Health License, or ability to obtain within 3 months of employment required

* Driver's license required

* College degree preferred

* High school diploma required
