JOB SUMMARY:The Employee Benefits Coordinator is responsible for administering the company's employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, record keeping, and premium payments. This role involves enrolling employees in benefits programs, handling inquiries, and ensuring compliance with company policies and HIPAA regulations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assisting with inquiries from field offices regarding benefits proceduresHandling benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)Analyzing billing statements and validating enrollment dataEntering and validating enrollment data in HRISAssisting with open enrollment processMaintaining benefit and employee data in payroll/human resources systemsConducting benefit audits for all plansAssisting with special projects as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:Education/Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of benefits experienceCompetencies:Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft ExcelStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to handle multiple assignments concurrentlyResults-oriented with strong customer service skillsWorking Conditions and Physical/Mental DemandsAbility to handle multiple tasks and maintain composure in pressure situationsFrequent computer usage and handling of sensitive informationRegular talking and hearing, occasional lifting and walking
