Job Description:

Masis Professional Group is assisting our client in searching for an Employee Communications Specialist based out of Westborough MA. Position is a contract position to last at least 6 months with high potential to convert to a permanent role for the right candidate. Position is 100% onsite.

Looking for experienced communications professional with strong writing and editing skills, creating engaging content, video scripts, and other projects to promote the company's brand internally.

Salary is commensurate with experience

Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday, standard 40 hours

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, review, and oversee content for the company intranet and communications platform by partnering with other departments to ensure content is accurate, appropriate and timely.
  • Analyze performance metrics and oversee the publication of news stories, while leading the Internal Communications (IC) team in the creation of engaging content.
  • Manage, oversee, and provide development opportunities for the Internal Communications team.
  • Work on creative content projects, from concept through completion, as outlined by the Director of Communications and key internal stakeholders.
  • Write, edit, and review content for internal leadership announcements, emails, newsletters, presentations, talking points, and video scripts, as needed.
  • Provide support for the day-to-day communication needs of various departments, including Retail Operations, HR, IT, Marketing, Facilities, etc.
  • Creates video concepts and scripts for leadership support team.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador and change leader by developing strategic communication plans that effectively engage stakeholders and drive organizational transformation.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in the Communications field; 5-8 years preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism or related field
  • Confident writer and editor
  • Knowledge and understanding of communication best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate communication and other challenges
  • Exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated commitment to quality
  • Creative thinking, curiosity, and an enthusiasm for learning
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality
