Position Overview: Employee Development Manager

This position reports to the company's COO. You'll be a hands-on leader and manager of a team responsible for designing and implementing training programs, fostering a strong company culture, and driving employee engagement and satisfaction. This dynamic role offers opportunities to innovate and grow while collaborating across teams to enhance morale and productivity. Additionally, you'll be cross-trained to step into other leadership roles temporarily, providing critical support and continuity across the organization when needed. We're looking for someone eager to dive in, make a real difference, and grow with us every step of the way!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training and Development Oversight: Design and implement skill-building programs to enhance employee capabilities and career growth, addressing skill gaps and supporting professional advancement.
  • Workplace Culture and Engagement: Foster a strong company culture by integrating Core Principles into daily operations, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement through tailored programs and initiatives.
  • Employee Satisfaction and Retention: Assess and improve employee satisfaction by gathering feedback, addressing workplace concerns, and implementing strategies to retain key talent through an engaging and supportive work environment.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing learning and development team by managing hiring, training, assessments, and career planning, while ensuring accountability and alignment with company goals.
  • Knowledge Management and Communication: Maintain accuracy in Waybook as the company's One Source of the Truth, streamline knowledge sharing, and ensure clear internal communication to keep employees informed and connected.
  • Change and Issue Management: Support organizational transitions by managing change initiatives, addressing employee concerns, and ensuring issue resolution aligns with company standards and stakeholder expectations.
