Job Summary: The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for conducting complex employee relations investigations, providing expert advice to managers of people and ensuring that all employee-related concerns are managed with consistency, thoroughness and in compliance with policies, procedures, union contract and legal and regulatory requirements. In addition to investigations, this role assists with policy creation, documentation, and leadership development related to employee relations. This role fosters a positive, inclusive and compliant workforce environment, while mitigating risks related to employee relations and HR compliance matters.QUALIFICATIONS:1. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field. MBA a plus. Related HR certification preferred.2. Minimum of 4 years experience in human resources in a variety of areas. .3. 2 years of workplace investigation experience required.4. Solid knowledge of Microsoft office products and experience with HR Information Systems required.DayFTE 1/40 Hours
