The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for assisting leaders in managing and resolving complex employee relations issues, providing guidance on policy interpretation and application, and promoting a positive work environment. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels, and a deep understanding of employment law and HR best practices. Primary Functions. Coach and advise leaders regarding employee relations issues including employee development needs, performance issues, accommodation requests, retaliation, and terminations. Provide appropriate guidance that balances the needs of the business with compliance; identifies when risk/legal resources should be engaged to navigate complex and/or high-risk issues.
