Swoon's largest airline industry client is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to help ensure that all internal and external investigations are conducted in accordance with the company's established policies and procedures.
Contract Duration: 7 months
Work Schedule: Hybrid T - TH, Remote M and F
Responsibilities:
- Investigations: Conduct prompt, objective, and detailed investigations of complaints, ensuring adherence to company policies and global standards.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive investigative reports for review by leadership, including Legal Counsel, HR, and other senior executives.
- Evidence Handling: Identify, collect, analyze, and preserve evidence, both physical and documentary.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent corporate investigative experience.
- Experience: 5–8 years of corporate investigations experience, specifically in harassment and discrimination cases.
- Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with federal and state employment laws.
- Travel: Minimal, once or twice during contract duration.
- Technical Expertise: Skilled in conducting interviews (virtual and in-person) and documenting findings professionally.
