Job Description:

Come join the Department of Human Resource Management at the City of Rochester as our Employee Safety Coordinator! This position is responsible for coordinating health and safety programs, risk management and the management of PESH (OSHA) compliance programs. If you're passionate about creating a safe and healthy workplace, this position is for you!

City Residency will be required within one year of hire.

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the minimum qualifications listed below:

  • Bachelor's degree in personnel, business administration, risk management, safety management, or a related field AND
  • Two years experience in a health and safety field or function managing accident prevention or loss control programs such as reduction of injuries and accidents; employee occupational health; motor vehicle safety programs and activities for compliance with OSHA/PESH including reporting and training.
