Are you a midlevel/senior employment litigation associate in NYC looking to join an AmLaw 100 firm? Look no further!
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience counseling employers on various employment-related issues, including leave entitlement, wage and hour issues, hiring, terminations, discipline, handbook policies and procedures, employment agreements, and other matters affecting the employment relationship.
- Experience defending employers in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, and their state law equivalents, is required, as is experience handling multiple facets of a litigation, including responding to complaints, drafting and responding to discovery, e-discovery and the production of documents, preparing dispositive and other motions, and drafting position statements.
- Experience with wage and hour class/collective action litigation experience and/or experience a plus.
- Experience with advising and defending/prosecuting restrictive covenant agreements preferred.
Must have earned a J.D. from an accredited law school
Must be admitted to practice in NY
The expected salary range for this position ranges from $245,000 - $315,000
