Description
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Employment Specialist for Individuals with Disabilities to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for empowering individuals with disabilities by providing them with the skills, opportunities, and support necessary to achieve sustainable employment in an energetic team setting. Our mission is to foster inclusion, equality, and personal growth for all individuals in the workforce. The ideal candidate will be committed to empowering individuals to achieve their career goals while promoting positive and inclusive workplaces.
Responsibilities
Client Assessment & Support:Meet amazing individuals with disabilities and establish a positive relationship with them, families, employers, community organizations, referral source agencies, and colleagues.
Conduct individual assessments to understand clients' skills, experiences, and career goals.
Develop personalized career plans and set achievable employment goals.
Teach individuals with disabilities how to use job search strategies, create resumes, prepare for interviews, and network.
Teach individuals with disabilities work related behaviors that positively impact their potential/ continued employment.
Provide on-the-job training and coaching for individuals with disabilities.
Employment Development
Identify and cultivate relationships with local employers to create job opportunities for clients.
Understand employer needs and match them with suitable candidates.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and employment outcomes.
Prepare regular reports on job placements and program effectiveness.

Required Education / Experience
Minimum Qualifications
