At Access, we believe in work with a purpose.Job Description :Supported Housing is a c ommunity r ehabilitation and support program to assist individuals in acquiring and maintaining skills and supports to live successfully in their communities. Supports include wellness , self-management, benefits and financial management, leisure planning, and skill development to manage r ehabilitation and to practice life skills. This program offers recovery support services to assist individuals in obtaining specific life goals while reduc ing the risk of relapse, hospitalization, loss of housing, or involvement with the criminal justice system .The Employment Specialist will :+ C onduct job search and development activities to a ssist clients in obtaining employment+ Create or revise resumes that highlight clients' experience, skills and interests+ Conduct mock interviews+ Actively assist clients in overcoming barriers to employment+ P rovi de individualized follow along supports to assist clients in maintaining em ployment+ P rovide benefits counseling, provide education t o family members and employers+ N egotiate job accommodations when needed and work collaboratively with team members to achieve employment outcomes+ Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:+ Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field, or Associates degree in Human Services with 2 years' experience+ Training and experience working with persons in disadvantaged groups, including individuals with serious mental illness preferred.+ Ability to match candidates with job openings+ Ability to work as an effective team player and the ability to achieve employment outcomes+ Excellent interpersonal and engagement skills+ Strong organizational skills+ Bilingual English and Spanish speaking a plusAccess offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision coverage; an array of voluntary benefits (term life, whole life, identity theft protection and pet insurance); Healthcare and Daycare Flexible Spending Accounts; employer paid Short Term Disability, LTD and AD&D; a matching 403(b) retirement plan, generous paid time off, paid holidays, accelerated holiday pay and tuition assistance.To see all career opportunities with Access visit .
