An AHA Basic Life Support Certification is mandatory, along with a valid insurance class C Texas Driver's License to operate necessary vehicles safely. Additionally, knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS), specifically ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800, is crucial for effective communication and coordination in emergency situations.You should also have a solid understanding of the locations of all hospitals and free-standing ERs in the area, enabling timely decision-making and logistical planning.
