Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Schedules End-dumps to job sites or quarries
  • Supervises End-dump drivers
  • Ensures all equipment, loads and drivers are DOT compliant
  • Coordinates with other dispatchers to ensure efficient use of trucking resources
  • Prioritize and schedule trucks based on efficiency and crew priority
  • Determines the need to utilize outside contractors for trucking needs
  • Continue seeking opportunities for the End-dump fleet
  • Ability to network and build relationships with outside haulers, third party fleets and owner operators
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable transportation with the ability to travel
  • Must have the ability to work extended hours as required by the workload
  • Prefer a valid CDL Class A driver's license with a clean driving record
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years Trucking Management experience and/or training, including
  • 2 years of construction experience
  • Heavy Truck mechanical maintenance & repairs experience
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
