Duties/Responsibilities:
- Schedules End-dumps to job sites or quarries
- Supervises End-dump drivers
- Ensures all equipment, loads and drivers are DOT compliant
- Coordinates with other dispatchers to ensure efficient use of trucking resources
- Prioritize and schedule trucks based on efficiency and crew priority
- Determines the need to utilize outside contractors for trucking needs
- Continue seeking opportunities for the End-dump fleet
- Ability to network and build relationships with outside haulers, third party fleets and owner operators
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation with the ability to travel
- Must have the ability to work extended hours as required by the workload
- Prefer a valid CDL Class A driver's license with a clean driving record
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years Trucking Management experience and/or training, including
- 2 years of construction experience
- Heavy Truck mechanical maintenance & repairs experience
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
