Overview Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The End User Computing Engineer I, will play a critical role in supporting the technical needs of a complex healthcare organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that end-user computing devices and software management platforms are operating efficiently and effectively, and that employees have access to the tools and resources they need to do their jobs. Your day-to-day tasks may include providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues with hardware and software, and configuring and deploying new devices and applications. You will also be responsible for training end-users on new technologies and ensuring that they are following best practices for security and data protection. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong working knowledge of a variety of operating systems and software applications, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders. Your day-to-day tasks may include analyzing and resolving complex technical issues, managing software updates, patching and evaluating new technologies and systems, and overseeing the work of other end-user computing team members. You will work closely with other IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure that the end-user environment is aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 2 years of experience in technical support, systems administration, or related roles. Experience with device engineering, design and deployments. Working knowledge of a variety of operating systems, including Windows and MacOS Familiarity with software management platforms, such as SCCM, JAMF, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Autopilot, and Intune. Candidate will also need to have extensive desktop engineering support. Knowledge of cloud computing technologies, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure. Basic understanding of security best practices and experience working with antivirus software. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Education/Licensure/Certification: Certifications preferred include Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Certified, MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, A+, VMware Digital Workspace, ITIL v3 Foundations. Pay Scale Information $89,440.00-$154,284.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
