As a Licensed Sales Producer, your primary role will be to serve as the first point of contact for new and existing clients, handling both sales and service. You'll be responsible for selling life and health insurance products, managing client relationships, and achieving your production goals. The role is remote, meaning you can work from home, but it does come with specific technology requirements to ensure you can effectively perform your job.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Client Acquisition:
- Develop insurance quotes, present products to clients, and close sales.
- Meet or exceed your business production goals (sales targets).
- Generate leads through calls, texts, direct emails, and other strategies.
- Ask for referrals from existing customers and explain the referral program.
- Cross-sell and up-sell additional financial products to increase client value and maximize revenue.
Customer Service & Relationship Management:
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring each client feels valued and understood.
- Be outstanding at relationship building, maintaining strong long-term connections with clients.
- Handle day-to-day customer inquiries and provide support throughout the insurance process.
Team Collaboration & Learning:
- Share your knowledge and expertise with team members to contribute to the teams success.
- Stay up-to-date with training and educational programs, ensuring you remain knowledgeable about products, underwriting, and compliance.
- Follow all underwriting and compliance requirements to ensure regulatory adherence.
Technology Use:
- Use multiple systems and programs simultaneously to manage client data, sales, and communications efficiently.
Work Independently:
- Be a self-starter who can manage your schedule, goals, and responsibilities independently.
- Work from home, ensuring you have a quiet, distraction-free environment for performing your job.
Job Requirements:
Life & Health Producer License:
- A Life & Health Insurance license in good standing is required to be considered for the position. If you do not currently have a license, the company will assist you in obtaining one and providing training.
Sales Skills:
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to develop quotes, close deals, and generate new business.
- Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and via email, with an ability to negotiate and present products persuasively.
Self-Motivation & Initiative:
- High level of self-motivation and a sense of urgency to meet business goals.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a professional work ethic and a positive attitude.
Professionalism:
- Professional phone etiquette and the ability to conduct yourself in a courteous and effective manner when speaking with clients.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a coachable mindset.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities to address client concerns or issues.
Technology Proficiency:
- Comfort and proficiency with technology, using multiple systems and programs simultaneously (e.g., CRM software, communication tools).
Quiet, Dedicated Work Environment:
- Must have access to a quiet location free from distractions where you can perform your job effectively.
