Endorsement Processor

What You'll Do: The Endorsement Processor is responsible for reviewing policy provisions, analyzing requested changes, supplying appropriate verbiage, endorsing changes, and consulting with clients on ways to accomplish ownership or beneficiary designation goals. Responsibilities include:

• Respond to and resolve customer service requests according to FBL Financial Group, Inc policies in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner for external customers, departmental staff, and other FBL personnel at all times.

• Utilize administration systems to secure policy information to process name, ownership beneficiary, address, and other similar changes.

• Update addresses for returned Life and Annuity mail.

• Prepare mail and print distribution within Life/Annuity Operations.

• Prepare correspondence to explain requirements and acknowledge endorsement changes.

• Review incoming bankruptcy documents to determine if a Farm Bureau policy owner is involved and make changes in the system if applicable.

• Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

• High school diploma or equivalent plus two years relevant experience required. Insurance or financial service experience preferred.

• Associate degree preferred.

• Must have good analytical and customer service skills.

• Must have or attain a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and Life-Comm.

• Keyboard skills (40 - 45 NWPM).

• Oral and written communication skills as appropriate to this position.

• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

• Reasonably regular and predictable attendance.

• Progress towards industry education is expected (Associate - Customer Service, ACS i.e. LOMA).

• Ability to work from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
