Job Details Our Endoscopy Technician will: Assist the physician and nursing staff in performance of endoscopic procedures Perform general patient care activities to provide patients with optimal health care Be able to recognize, obtain, document, and report data to appropriate staff Perform patient transport duties Coordinate scheduling and registration of all endoscopic procedures with medical staff, hospital departments, nursing and physician office staff Demonstrate technical competence in the cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of endoscopy equipment Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to meet the needs of patients and optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education. What you'll bring: Passion for Patient Care 1+ Years of Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care hospital setting required 1-2 years of experience working in Endoscopy strongly preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED required Certification: Certification in Endoscopic procedures required (must be completed within 1 year of employment); NYS Certified Nursing Assistant preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Salary Range USD $20.46 - USD $30.69 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
