Responsible for patient comfort, safety and personal care. Will perform various patient care activities related to the services necessary during gastrointestinal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as directed by the Registered Nurse. Must be able to perform jobs in all patient care and operational areas subject to reasonable accommodations. Must participate in the Respiratory Protection Program, which may include the wearing of a respirator. This is a union position. Salary Range: $21.54-$28.73/hourlyRequirements:POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Education required to qualify for license as a Certified Nursing Assistant; or experience as a Endoscopy technician.Experience: Minimum one year acute care CNA experience required.Minimum two years experience in Endoscopy required if no current CNA certification.Licenses/Certificates:Current California CNA Certification if applicableCurrent BLS Certification required.Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
