The Role: As an Endpoint Engineer at Fanatics Holding, you will play a pivotal role in building and managing our endpoint practice. This role requires a deep understanding of endpoint management solutions including SCCM, Intune, and JAMF. You will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of these systems to ensure seamless endpoint management across the organization. What You'll Do:
  • Windows Management: Develop, implement, configure, and maintain SCCM and Intune with co-management to manage Windows endpoints effectively. Oversee the deployment of software, windows patches, 3rd party patching, configuration and updates to endpoints. Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Windows Provisioning: Develop, implement and continuously improve an Intune auto pilot installation of the gold standard base image for Fanatics Holding.
  • Windows App Store: Establish and manage the internal app store (e.g., Software Center), ensuring it includes all frequently used applications for streamlined access and efficient software distribution within the organization.
  • Windows Upgrades: Facilitate operating system upgrades for Windows by integrating them into the app store, and encourage user-initiated updates through gentle reminders and user-friendly guidance.
  • Server Patching: Manage Windows Server patching using SCCM to schedule, deploy, and monitor security and software updates, ensuring servers are consistently up-to-date and secure.
  • SCCM Maintenance: Maintain SCCM infrastructure components, including management of distribution points, software update points, and device collections, to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the system.
  • Mobile BYOD: Develop, implement, and maintain Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) enrollment in Intune for iOS and Android devices to ensure secure and efficient device management within the organization.
  • Endpoint Security and Compliance: Ensure endpoint compliance with company security policies and industry best practices. Collaborate with the security team to implement endpoint protection and response strategies.
  • License Management: Implement software metering to monitor license utilization and remove underused applications, thereby reducing costs and minimizing the patch management workload.
  • Automation and Process Improvement: Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy in endpoint management. Develop and maintain documentation for endpoint management processes and procedures.
  • macOS Management: Set up a foundational JAMF instance to enable provisioning with core applications and select apps from the app store for 50 macOS endpoints.
  • VDI Management: Implement Amazon VDI WorkSpaces to provide a select set of applications for consultant population, ensuring consistent provisioning and integrated patch management for a secure and efficient virtual desktop infrastructure.
  • Project Management and Collaboration: Lead and contribute to projects involving endpoint management and other IT initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align endpoint management strategies with business needs.
  • Documentation: Document all configuration settings and maintain scripts in a centralized repository, ensuring thorough documentation for each script for easy reference and management.
  • Technical Support and Training: Provide advanced technical support for endpoint-related issues. Train IT staff on the use and management of SCCM, Intune, and Jamf.
What We're Looking For:
  • College degree, or related work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in endpoint management and IT infrastructure.
  • Proficient in managing and configuring SCCM and Intune for Windows endpoint management.
  • Experienced in deploying software, Windows patches, and third-party patches.
  • Skilled in setting up and maintaining Windows Provisioning using Intune auto pilot and 3rd party patching with a tool like PatchMyPC.
  • Ability to establish and manage an internal app store, including Software Center.
  • Experience with Windows Server patching using SCCM.
  • Some Familiarity with managing macOS endpoints using Jamf.
  • Some Knowledge of Amazon VDI WorkSpaces for virtual desktop infrastructure management.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining BYOD policies and enrollment in Intune for iOS and Android devices.
  • Knowledge of endpoint security practices and compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Ability to collaborate with security teams to implement endpoint protection strategies.
  • Experience with software metering to optimize license utilization and reduce costs.
  • Proficiency in automating routine tasks to enhance efficiency and accuracy in endpoint management.
  • Skills in developing and maintaining documentation for endpoint management processes.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to provide advanced technical support for endpoint-related issues.
  • Experience in training IT staff on the use and management of SCCM, Intune, and Jamf.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to monitor system health and provide effective solutions.
  • Willingness to stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in endpoint management.
In NYC, the salary range for this position is $112,000 to $151,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training. The listed salary range is specific to NYC only and may not be applicable to other locations.
