Trinity Consultants is seeking a Consultant/Analyst to work onsite at our valued client in the Biotechnology industry. This position will support the Global Procurement - Energy & Utilities team, assisting with energy data management. You will be tasked with transitioning energy reporting systems, checking invoices for accuracy, and assisting with energy management analytics as a direct contact with company's US sites. You will also be integral in forecasting and budgeting. This is a cutting edge site with exceptional training and development opportunities. Duties: The individual will receive developmental assignments, including formal and on-the-job training in general and specific procurement, energy, data, and sustainability matters. The individual will work independently under the guidance and direction of the client. Job duties for the collective sustainability team include: · Support engagement with key stakeholders to implement sustainability strategy initiatives, accurately measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and drive communication efforts. · Monitor KPIs for sustainability. Ensure appropriate internal controls and measurement systems are in place and implemented to assess performance. · Engage with industry peers on sustainability networks and collaboratives with focus on tangible outputs that advance company and industry sustainability impact. · Maintain awareness of emerging risks, issues, and trends that could affect energy strategy and performance. · Maintain a communications strategy for sustainability engagement and energy performance across the site. · Build effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support energy efforts. Duties and experience will include: Data Management Collecting, collating, and inputting data related to sustainability and environmental projects and metrics Researching technologies, processes, and initiatives for reducing environmental impacts Performing outreach and communications on specific sustainability issues Develop formats and mechanisms to collect, validate, compile, and trend sustainability-related data (e.g. using spreadsheets and other applicable software) Employ statistical analytics to interpret and resolve data related to sustainability Participate in process improvements including compliance programs and tools Present data and make recommendations to the Sustainability and Environmental Compliance Manager on actions to be taken to reduce impacts related to environmental and compliance procedures. Independently perform portions of complex sustainability projects that are being overseen by a more senior staff. Draft reports and presentations on sustainability-related issues as assigned. Employ interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community to influence sustainability issues. Assist with promotional and educational materials by writing, editing, and designing content brochures, fliers, bulletin board displays, newsletters, sustainability guides, and training materials etc. Improve the effectiveness of the campus sustainability practices by monitoring best practices related to sustainability at other sites and other select institutions and make recommendations for new sustainability programming and modifications to existing programs. Experience: Generally, the individual occupying this position will have 3-5 years of applicable work experience with data managment and spreadsheets.
