Job Description:
Looking for a Customer Service Representative who will be working with Energy Assistance Team. Provide inbound support to customers related to their query, complaints and service request.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in administering all aspects of the energy assistance and fuel fund functions and to provide a contact for all administering agencies.
· This position will be responsible for activities in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
· Provide backup & support to Energy Assistance Team Leader Respond to all internal and external inquiries regarding fuel funds and energy assistance.
· Process associated paperwork regarding fuel funds and energy assistance.
· Monitor and resolve investigation memos related to fuel funds and energy assistance
· Approve individual energy grants, document, and track receipt Liaison with external administering agencies for inquiries, grant approvals & procedural issues
· Coordinate interventions with external administering agencies to provide resolution for extenuating Crisis situations.
· Implement State specific procedures to insure compliance with state and consumer protection regulations.
Experience:
· Requires a high school diploma
· Minimum 1 year experience within a Call Center environment
· Trouble shoot, analyze, and problem-solving capabilities
· Oral & Written communication skills
· Excellent Customer Service Execute accurate and timely energy assistance and fuel fund transactions
· Effectively respond to internal and external inquiries
· Implement efficient procedures established to maintain program compliance.
