Job Overview:
As Data Coordinator, you will be responsible for working quickly and efficiently in a high-paced environment while remaining focused on their daily tasks and responsibilities. This position will require a mix of administrative and project management/coordination skills to support its team and client needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for energy data collection and analysis.
Your Responsibilities:
- Utility Data:
- Collect and maintain utility bill data through online portals and other resources.
- Enter/upload utility bills using EnergyCap (Energy Management Database) as required.
- Maintain up to date records of assigned buildings in Energy Cap.
- Review, audit and reconcile utility data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Fix missing, overlapping and/or other billing anomalies.
- Respond to energy data requests from peers/supervisors or helpdesk application.
- Assist with miscellaneous projects as needed.
- Energy Regulatory Benchmarking:
- Responsible for collecting, auditing and maintaining building characteristics for FirstService Residential Managed Properties on Portfolio Manager.
- Work with utilities to get consumption data updated on Portfolio Manage.
- Assist Data Specialist with ensuring that all properties are in compliance with the local laws.
- Audit utility data and/or other energy compliance inputs for accuracy.
- Communication:
- Responsible for written and verbal communications with utility companies, suppliers, associates and other internal clients.
- Assist MISC projects, tasks and/or other related duties to meet deadlines.
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
- Review Helpdesk log daily and complete tickets as assigned by the team.
- Project Management:
- Track assigned tasks and progress.
- Follow-up with internal and external teams as needed to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Provide updates to supervisors and senior leadership teams weekly.
- Conduct research on energy compliance laws or other related needs on behalf of the team.
- Create briefs and presentations on projects or updates as directed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Degree (accounting, data science, sustainability, and/or business)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive, accountable, and quick learner.
- 1-2 year of work experience
- Experience working with MS Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Strong understanding and practicing knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to interpret energy data, form conclusions, and present information to internal stakeholders.
Preferred but not required:
- Data entry experience
- Passion for sustainability or energy management
- Experience with third party software; EPA Portfolio Manager, EnergyCap, Avid Suite and ClickUp
- Experience working with utility bill data

Compensation:
$21.63 - $26.44 / hour
