Job Summary

The individual in this role will be engaged in the planning, marketing, implementation, program management and regulatory reporting aspects of the electric and natural gas Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EE&C) Programs. Inherent in these functions will be the responsibility for tracking and managing program data, managing relationships with various internal and external stakeholders to administer the EE&C programs, adhering to regulatory obligations to complete Annual Reports for the PUC, and supporting the larger Customer Programs Team with ad hoc reporting and analysis responsibilities related to the management of the low-income customer assistance programs such as LIURP, CAP, LIHEAP, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partner with external providers (vendors, trade allies, community organizations, etc.) on the ongoing management of the EE&C Programs. Act as the primary Program Manager for 4 separate EE&C programs which include, but are not limited to; the Residential Prescriptive, Appliance Rebate, Appliance Recycling, and Community Based Organization marketing programs. Assume primary ownership for developing the narrative and supporting data to be included in the Gas and Electric EE&C Annual Reports (filed with the PUC) for these programs. Identify best practices for program management and leverage these opportunities to further enhance the EE&C programs. Manage vendor relations and attend monthly status meetings to discuss program performance and address areas of concern.

  • Manage the development and execution of EE&C marketing campaigns including the planning, implementation, and monitoring of Google and Facebook ads, organizing detailed campaign specifications, sourcing advertising images and media, writing email and sponsored social media post copy, reporting on campaign outcomes, and managing billing within Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads. Develop and manage a master calendar which includes department marketing campaigns and associated timing. Work with the internal Communications Team to develop and promote social media and newsletter content promoting EE&C and/or low-income assistance programs. Assist management with reporting and marketing analysis of the customer assistance programs, including but not limited to; LIURP and CAP.

  • Manage all facets of expense management including invoice coding, tracking vendor spending, and monitoring PO funding to ensure sufficient balances for timely invoice payments. Generate monthly

  • SAP reports for tracking EE&C expenses, review data with the Accounting Department, and take primary ownership of the annual rate recovery schedule that is filed with the PUC. Partner with Procurement on the management of contract renewals and/or awarding new contracts to EE&C vendors.

  • Work with internal departments (marketing, communication, customer service) to coordinate the ongoing management of the Gas and Electric EE&C programs. Manage customer service issues including but not limited to; placing outcalls or email follow up directly to the customer or contractor as applicable. Support the Customer Programs Team with various ad hoc analysis.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Prior marketing experience with content development and campaign (email, direct mail, digital) deployment.
  • Prior program management experience supporting customer facing programs.
  • Experience with utility sponsored Energy Efficiency & Conservation Programs and Act 129 framework.
  • Demonstrated track record of relationship management skills and the ability to work with external vendors.
  • Experience with data reporting platforms such as SAP or industry software applications such as eTRACK.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in business, finance, or marketing with 3 years of experience, or high school diploma and minimum of seven years of work experience involving utility sponsored energy efficiency programs duties in lieu of degree.
  • 3 Years of experience preferred
