We are seeking an aspiring mechanical or chemical engineer to fill an Engineering Intern position. Our ideal applicant is a current student or a recent graduate of an engineering program to support project execution in our Energy Client Service Area. This opportunity is in our Bedford, NH office. The Engineering Intern will work closely with a team of staff engineers and scientists on challenging and exciting projects. All our projects focus on gas infrastructure design, with an emphasis on natural gas (liquefied, renewable, and compressed), propane, and hydrogen. Our project work is conducted primarily in the office but can have field components. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, with opportunities to be challenged, contribute to project outcomes, interact routinely with project managers and principals, and grow professionally.
While the successful candidate will not need to have prior job experience, they must have a great work ethic, a can-do attitude and a working knowledge of industry specific software and computer skills. This opportunity will provide an atmosphere rich in learning the responsibilities of a professional engineer under the supervision of our more senior employees.

Engineering Intern Duties and Responsibilities may include
* Learn the responsibilities of an engineer.
* Fulfill administrative duties around the office.
* Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work.
* Assist in the preparation of design documents.
* Assist with the review and interpretation of data.
* Assist with field investigations and documentation of existing conditions.
* Assist with the development of specifications.
* Assist with process modeling.
* Assist with development of AutoCAD drawings and models.

Engineering Intern Requirements and Qualifications
* Recent degree or current enrollment in an engineering program.
* Willingness to learn new skills.
* Flexible schedule and ability to travel to project locations.
* Strong attention to detail and technical understanding.
* Strong organizational and communications skills.
* Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
* Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Python, R, EQuIS and Microsoft Power Suite is desirable.
