Primary Purpose:
This position is responsible for providing clerical support to the Director of Plant Maintenance & Operations to ensure an efficient operation of the Energy Management Department.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and databases, and do word processing
Proficient in keyboarding, 10-key numerical data entry, and file maintenance
Ability to meet established deadlines
Above average oral and written communication skills
Experience in operating basic office equipment
Experience in general accounting and bookkeeping
Experience:
Three years clerical experience
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Records and Phone
1. Compile, maintain, file, and distribute all reports, records, and other documents as required following established procedures.
2. Keeps informed of and complies with state and district policies and regulations.
3. Answers routine telephone calls and inquiries.
4. Daily clerical duties such as filing, typing, input and output of work orders.
5. Communicate with HVAC dept in reference to work orders, repairs and overrides.
6. Inputs district-wide monthly utility bills in School Dude work order system (different utility reports for districts are derived from this program).
7. Overrides air conditioning and/or heating district-wide through either Tracer or Automated Logic Computerized Energy Management Systems.

10. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
11. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Director of Plant Maintenance & Operations or designee.
