**Job Summary**

This role focuses primarily on managing nominations across all natural gas pipelines and related Ohio natural gas retail markets within AEP Energy's operations. While scheduling is the main duty, the position also entails resolving various issues with counterparties, pipelines, reallocation, accounting, settlements, and trading. A comprehensive grasp of pipelines, storage, retail nominations, and capacity release is essential. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in scheduling across multiple markets and possess clear communication skills for effective interaction with trading. An understanding of trading implications in relation to scheduling responsibilities is also necessary.

**Job Description**

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1) Responsible for the scheduling of all gas transactions. This includes the set up and nominating of any monthly and/or daily volumes on all necessary pipelines and Ohio regional LDCs.

2) Review and analyze operational constraints and communicate to the trading desk. This includes any OFOs, cut notices, planned maintenance, or any other variations that occur in our market areas.

3) Nominate each pipeline and retail market in the most cost effective and reliable way possible utilizing all assets available to us.

4) Execute all necessary biddable and non-biddable capacity release on applicable pipelines. Once executed enter rate, mdq, and term details into AEP Energy ETRM System Horizon.

5) Manage & communicate all storage, virtual supply, pool imbalances, and daily variances as needed.

6) Review and analyze daily customer usage to update customer nominations to maintain banking requirements and comply with Operational Orders issued by the pipeline or LDC.

7) Perform retroactive nominations to avoid cuts, pipeline, and/or utility penalties.

8) Input and update actual scheduled values into Horizon

9) Perform the month end close out process of pipelines and utilities by reconciling volumes, this includes reallocation.

10) Tie out to monthly pipeline, LDC, and counterparty invoices in Horizon.

11) Participate in weekend and holiday coverage on-call rotation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education requirements are listed below:

Bachelors Degree in Business Management or a related field or the equivalent education and / or experience.

Work Experience requirement listed below:

A minimum of five (5) years of industry-related experience preferred.

Physical demand level is Sedentary

**Compensation Range:**

$83,413.00-104,267.50 USD
